ABSTRACT

The impact of COVID-19 on the way of consuming art has led to changes in behavior to-wards more responsible and sustainable models. Art continues to be a fundamental part of people's lives, and significantly influences the quality of life, both in the educational and work environment. During confinement, the people who have been able to consume art have done so according to different needs and contexts. However, art, beyond its social benefits, has a direct implication both in sustaina-bility and in the business world. This work aims to know the consumption of art during the pandemic and its relationship with social and business responsibility. The methodological approach is quantitative and was based on an ad hoc questionnaire in which a total of 308 people participated. From the results it is clear that through the consumption of art responsible behaviors can be generated in companies. In addition, the relationship established between art and business success is highlighted, as well as the involvement and responsibility in sustainability.

ABSTRACT

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is without a doubt an important cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, occupying the first place over other disorders such as obesity and dia-betes. Therefore, primary prevention is essential, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, it is important to revise and update the strategies for prevention, including changes in lifestyle such as in nutrition and physical activ-ity, for which there are numerous possibilities and alternatives arising every day and that must be studied to determine their efficacy and safety. Likewise, additional factors and comorbidities that may elevate cardiovascular risk must also be assessed in order to apply opportune pharmacological treatments as prevention, some of them being accepted and widely used, and others being controversial. In con-sequence, further research is necessary to determine the best strategies for CVD prevention and continue innovation. Thus, the objective of this article is to review each of the modifiable cardiovascular risk factors with their respective alternatives, updates, and innovative therapeutic methods.

ABSTRACT

The use of music for the quality of life of the elderly is becoming very common, with a growing evidence base, such as the contributions of Kemper, K.J. and Danhauer (2005). During the Covid-19 pandemic, technology has provided the main means of communication and provision of Gascón services (2020). In this research, which relates music and new technologies, a case study approach was used to explore the impact of the use of digital technologies during the pandemic. A group (12) of older people participated. (between 65 and 87 years old). Data was qualitatively analyzed using QuestionPro software. The results indicated the importance of musical activity in their lives. The participants found it difficult to use technologies like Skype. The participants valued the WhatsApp sessions, although they said they preferred face-to-face activities. In conclusion, musical activities can be carried out through digital technologies, but when it comes to older people, we find two difficulties such as the use and access to technologies and the challenge of musical activity. Difficulties are aggravated when there is a vulnerable situation like the one that has been generated since the Covid-19. © 2021 Fundacion para la Investigacion Social Avanzada. All rights reserved.
